Extra Inning Softball has released the Division II Top 50 Watchlist for the Class of 2026, a curated list identifying the top committed athletes in the nation for that collegiate division. This release follows the initial publication of the DII Top 100 Watchlist, serving as a further narrowing of the field based on performance, consistency, and competitive impact.
The Top 50 Watchlist is part of a broader series of rankings and evaluations conducted by Extra Inning Softball to recognize athletes who have secured commitments to collegiate rosters. The process involves several stages of elimination, moving from the initial Division Watch Lists to the Top 100, Top 50, Top 25, and eventually a Top 5, which culminates in the naming of the Extra Inning Softball Player of the Year for each division.
Division Watch List Structure and Timeline
The Division Watch List series was launched in late 2025 to honor committed players across a wide spectrum of collegiate levels. The rollout of these lists occurred on a daily basis during a specific window in October and November 2025:
- October 27, 2025: NAIA–NCCAA Division Watch List
- October 28, 2025: JUCO Division Watch List
- October 29, 2025: Division III Watch List
- October 30, 2025: Division II Watch List
- October 31, 2025: Mid-Major Division Watch List
- November 1, 2025: Power Four Division Watch List
Following these initial releases, the organization began the process of narrowing the lists to identify the most distinguished athletes in each category. The current DII Top 50 list represents a heightened level of distinction within the Division II category.
Commercial and Athlete Recognition Services
Parallel to the rankings, Extra Inning Softball provides commercial services for the recognized athletes. The organization offers custom-designed graphics created exclusively for players who earn a spot on the Division Watch Lists. These graphics are marketed as professional tools for athletes to use on social media or as keepsakes to commemorate their collegiate commitments.

the organization is hosting a Signing Day Contest. The winners of this contest are slated to be featured in a mini-series and potentially a documentary, further extending the visibility of the athletes associated with the brand.
Identified Athletes and Commitments
The lists include specific athletes committed to various institutions. For the Class of 2026, identified players include Peyton Graboske, a commit for Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania, and Paige Bray, a commit for Truman State University.
The broader scope of the rankings also includes athletes committed to other programs, such as Katelyn Crosby, who is noted as a Class of 2026 commit for Nebraska.
The evaluation process for the Top 50 is designed to highlight those who separate themselves through their impact on the game and their consistency during the evaluation period.
