F1 2026 Calendar‌ Revealed: Madrid Set to Host Spanish Grand Prix

Formula 1 has announced its F1 2026 season calendar, featuring 24 races and a significant change as Madrid prepares to host the Spanish Grand Prix. The Spanish Grand ​Prix will‌ take place Sept. 11-13, marking​ the end of the European leg. The season will maintain its familiar structure, with Australia ​hosting the opening race.

The European segment ​begins with the Monaco⁤ Grand ‌prix June 5-7,followed by ‌Barcelona June ​12-14,and ⁤concluding with the Azerbaijan Grand Prix ‍in Baku⁢ Sept.27.

The season will commence‌ in Australia March 6-8,‌ followed ⁤by races in China, Japan, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, and Miami. A notable change sees the⁢ Canadian Grand Prix moving ⁢to May 22-24, creating ⁣a clash with⁤ the Indy 500, potentially dividing motorsport enthusiasts.

Following the ⁢European ​races, ‍the F1 series heads ‍to Asia for the Singapore ‍Grand Prix Oct. 9-11. The ‌season’s final stretch includes two triple-headers, starting in Texas Oct.23-25, followed by mexico and ⁢Sao Paulo on Nov. 1 ⁢and 8, respectively.

The penultimate leg starts in Las ‌Vegas Nov. 19-21,​ followed by Qatar nov.​ 27-29, with Abu Dhabi hosting the season finale ⁣Dec. 4-6.

F1 President and CEO Stefano Domenicali welcomed the⁢ new ⁣calendar,highlighting the sport’s excitement as Madrid takes ⁢over the Spanish ⁣GP amidst⁢ new regulations ‌and the entry ​of ‌Audi,Cadillac,and Ford.
