Madrid to Host F2 and F3 Races in 2026 Championship Schedule

Formula 2 and Formula 3 have released their calendars for the 2026 season, with Madrid set to make its debut. The F2 championship schedule features 14 rounds, while F3 will consist of 10 races.
The Formula 2 season will kick off in Melbourne, Australia, from March 6-8. bahrain and Saudi Arabia will form a double-header in April. After a break in May, racing resumes in europe, with rounds in Monaco, Barcelona, Austria, great Britain, belgium, Hungary, and Italy. Madrid will host the 11th round in September, followed by Azerbaijan. The season concludes with races in Qatar and Abu dhabi in late November and early December.
The F3 championship schedule mirrors the start of F2, beginning in Melbourne. The removal of Imola from the calendar shifts the order of subsequent races. Madrid will host the season finale for F3 in September, marking a change from the conventional Monza, Italy, finale.

Stefano Domenicali,F1 president and CEO,believes the Formula 2 calendar will challenge drivers with diverse circuits,testing their skills. He also stated that the F3 calendar will test the drivers’ technical aptitude, mental and physical resilience.
