The film, the first in a planned trilogy, will be helmed by Brandon Salisbury, the writer and director of the highly anticipated documentary George A. Romero’s Resident Evil. Salisbury has teamed up with executive producer Steve Barton, known for his work on the box office hit Terrifier 2.Adding to the powerhouse team are George Demick (knightriders, Asylum of Terror) and Airdorf Games, the original creators of FAITH, who will serve as executive producers. A Faithful Adaptation

Joining them are filmmaker and cinematographer Tom Robenolt (Whistle to the Maples,George A. Romero’s Resident Evil) and J.J. The games draw inspiration from the infamous “Satanic panic” of the 1980s, a period marked by widespread fear and paranoia about Satanic influence in media, music, and tabletop games.

A Team with Horror Pedigree
This marks the third collaboration between Salisbury, Robenolt, and George and Carson Demick. The group previously campaigned for a sequel to George Romero’s Knightriders, producing a concept film that garnered support from many of the original cast and crew.
Meanwhile, George A. Romero’s Resident Evil will be available on Digital and On Demand starting January 7, 2025.
