False Claim of Book Tour Sparks Confusion
A Facebook account falsely claiming to be former WWE Divas Champion AJ Lee posted an update on October 22, 2025, regarding her absence from WWE television. The post, which quickly circulated online, stated she was currently on a book tour and not sidelined by injury. it also included a message of thanks to Becky Lynch for “keeping the title warm,” hinting at a potential return.
“On a book tour. Not injured, but I appreciate the concern. also, thanks Becky Lynch for keeping the title warm for me. Momma will be back, soon.”
However, Ringside News confirmed the Facebook account is inauthentic and not operated by AJ Lee.
No Official Word from WWE or AJ Lee
as of today, neither AJ Lee nor WWE has issued an official statement clarifying her current status. Her only in-ring appearance this year was alongside CM Punk at WrestlePalooza, and she has not been featured on WWE programming since that event.
This lack of communication leaves fans uncertain about whether AJ Lee will make a full-time return to WWE or if her WrestlePalooza appearance was a one-time event.
The Future of AJ Lee in WWE
AJ Lee’s unexpected return at WrestlePalooza generated significant excitement among fans. Though, the subsequent silence and the emergence of a fake social media account have created ambiguity. The question remains: should AJ Lee pursue a full-time return to WWE, or is it best to leave her legacy intact after her appearance at WrestlePalooza?
