A 13-year-old boy named Noah Campbell died following a collision involving a car, a bike, and a scooter on April 1, 2026, in Flitwick, Bedfordshire.

The incident occurred at 11:50 p.m. On Greenfield Road. Two other teenage boys were taken to the hospital with serious injuries as a result of the crash. According to police reports, one of these boys has since been discharged, while the other remains in the hospital in a serious condition.

Legal Proceedings and Charges

Bedfordshire Police confirmed on Sunday, April 5, 2026, that two individuals have been charged in connection with the collision. Jamie Fountain, 24, of Fir Tree Close in Flitwick, has been charged with causing death by careless driving and causing death by careless driving while over the legal limit for alcohol, and drugs.

Fountain faces additional charges, including two counts of causing serious injury by careless driving regarding the other two boys involved. He has also been charged with failing to stop at the scene of an accident, failing to report an accident, and conspiracy to pervert the course of justice.

A 23-year-old woman has also been charged in connection with the crash.

Family Tributes

In a statement issued by Bedfordshire Police on April 5, 2026, Noah Campbell’s family described him as fun, bright, handsome, athletic and incredibly well-liked. They stated that his death has left a hole in our lives that will remain forever.

Noah was a talented and versatile sportsman. While football was his favourite sport — playing for many local teams — he was a gifted all-rounder who excelled in rugby, cricket and athletics. Outside of organised sports, Noah stayed active and adventurous; he loved challenging himself at the gym and spending time at the bike park.

The family noted that Noah cherished spending time with his friends and family, who they described as the heart of his world. Some of his most cherished memories included attending Luton Town FC and Liverpool FC matches with his father.

Flowers and tributes have been placed at the crash site on Greenfield Road.
