HUDSON, NY – A quiet hudson, New York community is grappling with the aftermath of a horrific shooting that left a father dead and his wife and daughter critically injured.The alleged shooter, a 14-year-old boy identified only as “B.”, also died by suicide.

Ramiro Rotello, 49, was killed instantly, while his wife, Ruth Semeszczuk, 48, and their 8-year-old daughter remain hospitalized. Semeszczuk is in critical condition, while her daughter is reported to be stable.
Luli Rotelo, Ramiro’s cousin, expressed the family’s profound grief and disbelief. “We are all equally devastated,” she saeid. “We can’t understand how this could have happened.”
Rotelo described her young cousin as a “sweet and special” boy,adding that ther were no warning signs of such violence. “He was just like any other child,” she said.
