Formula 1 (F1) has extended its broadcast partnership with FanCode, a sports streaming platform, through teh 2028 season, building on a successful collaboration that began in 2024. The deal encompasses exclusive coverage in India, Bangladesh, Nepal, and Sri Lanka.
Partnership Details
Under the renewed agreement, FanCode will continue to provide live coverage of every Formula 1 session – including practice, qualifying, sprint races, and Grand Prix races - across its channels. Notably, F1 TV Pro and F1 TV Premium subscriptions will now be sold directly through the FanCode platform, streamlining access for fans. The partnership extends to broadcasting in Bangladesh,Nepal,and Sri Lanka as well.

Formula 1’s popularity in India has seen significant growth, with the estimated fanbase now reaching 79 million, according to Formula One estimates. This represents a substantial increase from the fewer then 60 million fans recorded when FanCode first secured the broadcast rights in 2024. FanCode has actively contributed to this growth through fan screenings and promotional activities across the country.
Pricing and Accessibility
FanCode has historically offered a more affordable alternative to F1 TV in India. As of December 30, 2025, it remains unclear whether FanCode’s pricing structure will change with the introduction of multiple subscription tiers on the same platform. Previously, an annual FanCode subscription cost ₹599 (approximately US$6.66 as of December 30, 2025), while F1 TV was priced at ₹2,499 (approximately US$27.65 as of December 30, 2025) [Sportspro]. The difference in price has been a key factor in attracting a wider audience to the sport.
