Fano Fitness Festival Expands, Prioritizes Inclusion and Well-being

FANO, italy – The Fano Fitness Festival is set⁤ to return for its second year with triple the space in Pincio and the addition ⁢of a dedicated psychology festival at a new location. The event, focused on fitness and psychophysical well-being,⁣ will ‍transform Fano’s historic center ⁢into an open-air gym from May ⁤16-18.

Organized by ASD Fano Fitness Festival, the event is supported by the Municipality of Fano and the Marche Region,⁢ highlighting its ⁢role in promoting the⁣ area. The festival also continues its collaboration with ASI‍ and BCC Fano, which offers discounts to its ⁢members for ticket purchases. A key focus‍ of ‍the ⁣Fano Fitness Festival is ⁣inclusion, ensuring participation for people with disabilities ⁣and turning diversity into possibility.

Expanded Activities and Locations

This year’s festival will feature ⁤more than 30 instructors and ⁢over 10 local organizations, all promoting⁤ a healthy and active lifestyle across various locations. These include the Pincio, the bourgeois dock, and, new this year,⁤ the Sangallo bastion.

Pincio: Motor activities and More

The Pincio will host a range of motor activities, divided into six areas. The ⁤arch of Augustus stage will feature Step Tonic and⁣ Spinning. An OCR area, equipped by OCR Park metauro, will be available, along with a fitness area for crossfit (by Crossfit Fano), boxing, and calisthenics. A chill ⁢area by Purple Brunch and Nutrition Store will offer⁤ Pancake ⁢Fit and Iced Matcha. New additions include a Pink Terrace for ⁤abdomen, cardio, buttocks, and⁢ legs⁢ training, and a pre- and post-gravidation yoga area in collaboration with Koala Babycare. A Kids area with activities‍ organized by CSI, ASI, and FIPE ⁢will also be present.Panoramic mountain⁢ bike tours with pedal-assisted bikes provided by Marche and Bike will start from Pincio, showcasing the landscapes of Monte Jupiter and the surrounding hills.

Bourgeois ⁤Dock: Holistic ⁣Disciplines

the bourgeois dock will remain the center for holistic disciplines, including Yoga, Pilates, Meditation,⁢ and Flow Stretch. It ⁤will also serve as ⁣the⁤ starting ⁢point for activities ‍such⁢ as the non-competitive Run 10km and metabolic walk.

Psychology Festival at Bastione Sangallo

The ⁤Bastione Sangallo will host the Psychology Festival, a new ⁣addition this year. The festival includes three days of conferences addressing various ⁤issues related‍ to psychophysical well-being, such as violence against women, healthy aging, eating disorders, learning disabilities, the relationship between anxiety and ‍sport, ‍mindful eating, and the importance of mindfulness in schools. ⁤Associations like Women’s Path and the Italian⁣ Dyslexia Association (AID),⁢ along with teachers from the University of Urbino and other experts, will participate. Admission⁢ to the ⁤conferences at the‍ bastione Sangallo is free.

Tickets and Information

A single ticket, valid for all three days, costs 24.99 euros and allows participants to book up to four activities per day.‍ Due to limited space, advance booking is recommended through the‍ official website, www.fanofitnessfestival.it. Information ‍points will be located at Pincio and the bourgeois dock, where tickets can be purchased and⁣ activities can be registered for.

Festival Kick-off⁢ and Entertainment

The festival will officially begin on Friday, May 16, at 6 p.m. at Pincio with an event called ‘The curtain rises,fitness has returned to the ‍city.’ The opening will feature dance and ⁤music shows. On Saturday, May 17, an electronic music DJ set in collaboration with the⁣ Adriatic Sound Festival will take place at Pincio from 10:30 p.m., with free admission.

Organizers’ Perspectives

Nicola Ruggeri, President of ASD APS Fano ‍Fitness Festival, stated ‍that each location will have its own ⁤theme, from fitness to holistic activities and psychology. He thanked the city council for their support and expressed confidence in high participation rates. Ruggeri highlighted the Group Cycling event in front of the Arch of Augustus on Saturday afternoon as a key⁢ event. Ignazio ‍Pavetto acknowledged the ⁣contribution of sponsors including OCRX, Koala Babycare, BCC, Digital Team, Bufalo‍ Costruzioni, Gabellini Auto, ASI, Sara Paci physiotherapy, Central Garage, Cerioni hairdressers, Palextra, Schnell, Caparol, Vigilar and Fano Service.

Fano Mayor Luca Serfilippi congratulated the organizers on the ⁣event’s growth and its ability⁢ to promote well-being ⁢and project the city⁢ on a ⁢national level. Alberto Santorelli emphasized the combination of tourism and sport, noting‍ that the festival allows people to approach new disciplines within a ancient and artistic setting.
