Farah Khan Reveals Budget Secrets of ”Sheila ki Jawani”

Farah Khan’s 2010 film, ‘Tees Maar Khan,’ is remembered for the popular song “Sheila Ki Jawani,” featuring Katrina Kaif. Khan recently disclosed that the hit track was produced on a tight movie budget.
During a conversation at Manasi Parekh’s home, Farah Khan discussed their collaboration on the film Shubhchintak. Parekh mentioned the film’s modest budget of Rs 5 crore, which surprised Khan. She noted that nowadays, a single song can cost more than an entire film.
Khan emphasized that a smaller budget encourages better thinking. She cited “Sheila Ki Jawani” as the cheapest song she ever made.The revelation surprised Parekh and actor Swapnil joshi.
Khan explained that the song was shot in three and a half days with onyl 10 dancers and no elaborate set. Despite its low cost, ”Sheila Ki Jawani” became one of the biggest hits of her career. Sunidhi Chauhan received awards for her vocals on the track, composed by Vishal-Shekhar.
