More than 100,000 fans visit the Fargodome annually to cheer on the Bison. The venue can accommodate over 25,000 attendees for full arena concerts, and offers varying configurations for different event types, including a Gate City Bank Theater setup seating 3,500, a half-house capacity of 11,000, a three-quarter house of 16,000, and end-stage or center-stage arrangements for up to 26,700 people.

The design was a collaborative effort between Sink, Combs, Dethlefs, and Triebwasser, Helenske & Associates, with Industrial Builders, Inc. Serving as the general contractor and Meinecke-Johnson as a main contractor.

The installation of Gate City Bank Field in provided a state-of-the-art playing surface for the Bison football team and streamlined the conversion process between football games and other events. The Fargodome has hosted several professional sports teams over the years, including the Fargo-Moorhead Fever and Beez of the Continental Basketball Association (CBA), as well as the Fargo Freeze of the Indoor Football League (IFL).
Located approximately five minutes north of downtown Fargo, the Fargodome is easily accessible and remains the primary venue for activities and entertainment in the city. The facility’s elevation at street level is approximately 900 feet above sea level.
