Farmer Wants a Wife: Meet the Cast of the New Season

Fox has announced the premiere of Farmer Wants a Wife Season 4, scheduled for Tuesday, April 21, at 8 p.m. ET. The dating series returns with Kimberly Williams-Paisley, known for her role in 9-1-1: Nashville, returning as the host to guide three new bachelor farmers in their search for lasting love.

The new season features three bachelors from diverse agricultural backgrounds across the United States. Braden Pridemore, 26, is a fifth-generation corn and soybean farmer based in Homer, Illinois. He manages a 3,000-acre farm and is seeking a faith-minded, kind, and fun partner to help build a family on the land his grandfather established. Outside of farming, Pridemore is a songwriter and guitar player who performs at local bars.

Brett Maverick, 35, operates a 1,000-acre horse and cattle farm in Savannah, Tennessee. A former bull rider, Maverick previously pivoted to business, founding a tequila brand and a protein bar company. He has since returned to his family’s land to establish his own ranch and is looking for a partner rooted in loyalty and love.

Sean Cavanaugh, 22, is a farm-to-table produce farmer from Solvang, California. He works on a 22-acre family farm growing avocados, kiwis, figs, peaches, and tomatoes. These products supply other California eateries as well as the family’s own restaurant, The Gathering Table.

The Contestants

A total of 27 women from across the country, including participants from New York, Florida, and California, will compete for the farmers’ affections. The cast includes a diverse range of professionals, such as a wedding planner, a content creator, a woodworker, and a two-time Miss Texas winner.

The contestants have been divided among the three farms:

• Braden’s Farm: Ana Paula, Brittney, Cameron, Caroline, Carsyn, Casey, Faith, Mackenzie, and Nicolette.
• Sean’s Farm: Alibeth, Autumn, Brooke, Carson, Emily, Gabriela, Kamyrn, Macey, and Olivia.
• Brett’s Farm: Breaunna, Cassi, Hanna, Heather, Julia, Lauren, Paige, Quinn, and Stephanie.

Among the contestants are Macey Scheffler, a 21-year-old model from Bell Buckle, Tennessee, and Alibeth Thigpen, a 22-year-old hairstylist from Lagrange, Georgia.

Season Format and Twists

The season will incorporate high-stakes mixer events to test the connections between the farmers and the women. These include a speed dating event held in Nashville, Tennessee, and a gathering at the Laurel Park Racetrack in Laurel, Maryland.

The production has introduced several new emotional elements and twists for Season 4. One contestant will make the decision to leave her matched farmer to pursue a relationship with a different bachelor. Farmers must decide whether to accept an additional woman into the competition who has been handpicked by their respective families.

To further evaluate compatibility, the season will feature a surprise date designed by the women to explore intimacy, as well as a formal compatibility test intended to reveal if the couples align regarding their long-term goals and core values.
