The Bronx-born rapper, facing a challenging period after the loss of his brother, father, and mother, took to Instagram on Wednesday to address the situation. He asserted he would not be intimidated and vowed to fight back against what he described as extortion attempts.
Fat Joe initially sued Dixon and Blackburn in April for extortion and defamation, triggered by Dixon’s online claims. Dixon then countersued on June 19, seeking $20 million and repeating the allegations, including claims of forced participation in numerous sex acts and unpaid contributions to songs.
Adding another layer to the legal drama, Blackburn was arrested Wednesday for allegedly hitting a process server with his car while the server attempted to deliver Fat Joe’s lawsuit. Blackburn faces a second-degree assault charge.
Fat Joe is persistent to fight the lawsuit allegations and clear his name in this high-profile legal battle involving a hip-hop lawsuit and serious accusations.
