Tragedy Strikes as Two⁢ Teens Killed,Two Critically Injured in High-Speed Crash

Cordoba,Argentina – A devastating car crash early Sunday ⁤morning claimed the‍ lives of two 19-year-old men and left two others,aged 18,fighting for their⁢ lives. ‍The accident occurred around 5:20 a.m. on the Avenida Circunvalación, near ‌kilometer⁢ 44.

According to initial ⁤reports,the Ford ka⁢ carrying the four friends was traveling at a high rate of speed⁢ when it ⁢veered off the road. ​The⁤ vehicle first collided with a lamppost before ⁤slamming into the guardrail.⁤ The impact was so severe that the car was left entirely‌ mangled on the side of the road.

Tragically, Agustín Varela,⁣ the driver, and tomás Álvarez, who was seated in the rear left passenger seat, where⁤ killed instantly. Witnesses reported seeing Varela ejected from⁢ the vehicle, suggesting he may not have been wearing a seatbelt. Álvarez’s body⁣ remained trapped inside ‍the wreckage.

“We will ⁣be reviewing security⁢ camera footage to determine the exact cause of the accident,” a source ⁢close to the examination​ told local news. “At this point, we don’t know what led the driver to lose control.”

The two surviving passengers, identified as‌ Matías S. and Abraham ⁢C., were rushed to a nearby hospital in ​critical condition.

The force of​ the‌ crash‌ caused important damage to the​ vehicle. The ⁢roof was crushed,⁣ doors‍ were jammed shut, and ‌several parts were scattered across the scene. Firefighters faced challenges extracting the⁣ victims from the wreckage.

Police are continuing their investigation​ into the accident and will conduct toxicology tests to determine if alcohol or drugs played a role. Authorities have also reported a complete closure of the affected ⁣section of the Avenida Circunvalación.
