General Lavalle,Argentina – A family vacation turned into a nightmare early Sunday morning when a car crash on Route 11 claimed the lives of a mother and her two young daughters. The accident, which occurred near kilometer 263.5, has left a community in mourning and sparked concerns about road safety during the busy summer travel season.

Mariana Ambrosio, 42, and her daughters, 3-year-old Eva Reales and 10-year-old Josefina Reales, were killed instantly when their Toyota Etios veered off the road at high speed and collided with a tree in the central median.The family was traveling southbound towards La Plata.

The children’s father and their 8-year-old son were rushed to a hospital in La Plata. the father is reported to be in stable condition, while his son suffered a critical leg injury.
