The Cheonan Branch of the Daejeon District Prosecutors’ Office announced that it had sent the representatives of the main and subcontractors at the apartment construction site where a worker fell to death to trial on charges of violating the Serious Accident Punishment Act.

Mr. A and others are accused of failing to properly take safety measures at an apartment construction site in Tangjeong-myeon, Asan-si, Chungcheongnam-do in August 2022, causing two workers who were cleaning the elevator to fall to the second basement floor and die.
