Father’s Day Cruise Rolls into Belmont park for Annual Car Show

Mission Beach was filled wiht automotive enthusiasm Sunday as the annual Father’s Day Cruise to Belmont Park took place. Dozens of classic and modern cars lined up, offering a perfect Father’s Day experience for many.
The event featured live music, vendors, and a diverse array of vehicles just steps from the beach, creating a festive atmosphere for families and car enthusiasts alike. the annual car show provides a unique opportunity to appreciate automotive history and design.
Victor Chung, attending the show for the first time with his family, described it as a “total surprise.” His wife had kept the destination a secret, making the event an unexpected and delightful Father’s Day party. The Father’s Day car show offered a chance to bond over a shared interest.
“My son and I collect hot wheels and Die-Cast, so this is perfect,” Chung said. “I’ve always been into cars my whole life, but now he is.”
Joe Vaiasuso, who has been attending the Father’s Day Cruise for more than a decade with his family, noted the show’s continued growth. The Father’s Day Cruise to Belmont Park has become a tradition for many San Diego families.
“We’ve been coming to it for around 10 to 12 years now,” Vaiasuso said. “Looks like it gets bigger every year.”

Another car show is scheduled for Wednesday, June 18, in downtown El Cajon. The Cajon Cruise Porsche Playground will run every Wednesday through July 30.
