Federal authorities are investigating an effort to impersonate White House Chief of Staff Susie Wiles. The impersonator contacted prominent Republican politicians and business leaders, according to reports.
The scheme involved text messages and phone calls to Wiles’ contacts. Sources indicate Wiles’ personal cellphone was hacked,not her government-issued device. The impersonator reportedly sought a list of individuals President Trump could pardon.
