FDJ-Suez Overtakes SD Worx in UCI WorldTeam Rankings
FDJ-Suez Topples SD Worx to Become Top-Ranked Women’s Cycling team
for the first time, FDJ-Suez has claimed the top spot in the UCI team rankings, ending SD Worx’s dominant run that spanned every year since 2021 (wiht a brief interruption in 2020). SD Worx had previously held the top ranking consistently from 2016-2020 as well.
This shift in power comes as 2025 sees significant team changes and increased investment across the women’s peloton.while SD Worx remains a strong team, they are no longer the clear frontrunners they once were.
FDJ-Suez’s success was largely driven by new signings, including Demi Vollering (with 11 wins), Elise Chabbey, Juliette Labous, and Ally Wollaston – all of whom accumulated over 1,500 UCI points. The team’s investment has grown dramatically, increasing from €400,000 in 2020 to over €4 million in 2025.
UAE team ADQ secured the third position in the rankings, boosted by the addition of Elisa Longo Borghini to their roster.
