The arrest followed a report made at approximately 6:42 p.m. On April 13 by staff members at a unit on Harbour Road in Wan Chai. The report alleged that a woman had stolen funds from a company situated on Salisbury Road in Tsim Sha Tsui.
Investigation and Arrest Details
The case was initially managed by the Wan Chai district criminal investigation team. Preliminary investigations identified the suspect as a 53-year-old female staff member, surnamed Ho, who is accused of stealing the HK$43 million sum from her employer.

Following her arrest on suspicion of theft, the woman was detained for further investigation. Police have announced that the case will be transferred to the Yau Tsim district criminal investigation team for follow-up proceedings.
According to reports from The Standard, the incident occurred within the Tsim Sha Tsui business district, involving a significant misappropriation of company funds by an internal employee.
