Festdanzen in Örebro Postponed to 2027 Due to Low Ticket Sales

The newly launched dance event Festdanzen in Örebro has been postponed to Feb. 19, 2027, due to insufficient advance ticket sales, organizers announced, according to Dansbandsnytt.

Low Advance Ticket Sales Force Postponement

Festdanzen was scheduled to take place this coming weekend at Conventum in Örebro. Organizers Livescen Scandinavia, Conventum, and Brunnsparken Örebro decided to push the event forward after ticket sales failed to reach the required level.

Vi ställer inte in, vi flyttar fram det hela och hoppas det blir bättre, said Johanna Holmqvist of Livescen Scandinavia to Dansbandsnytt.

Livescen Scandinavia introduced the concept in April to combine dance with a party atmosphere targeting a broader audience, designed to resemble a final night at the Dansbandsveckan on Cinderella. Holmqvist noted that organizers made major efforts in recent weeks and hoped sales would pick up, but purchases stalled completely during the final week.

Ingen arrangör vill någonsin flytta ett evenemang, men facit är att vi inte får ihop publikunderlaget, Holmqvist stated, adding that many attendees apparently intended to buy tickets at the door rather than purchasing in advance.

Royz Rollerz Replaces Perikles for Rescheduled Festdanzen

While most of the original artist lineup—including Danzbanderz, Emil Assergård, and Boogie Woogie SM winners Cajsa and Conrad—remains on board for the rescheduled 2027 date, Perikles is already booked elsewhere for the February date. As a result, the newly added dance band Royz Rollerz will step in to replace Perikles.

Purchased tickets will remain valid for Festdanzen on Feb. 19, 2027. Meanwhile, a related dance evening featuring Martinez at Brunnsparken on Saturday remains scheduled as planned, according to Dansbandsnytt.
