VALENCIA, Spain (AP) – Reservations opened tuesday, April 29, 2025, for the fifth annual art Festival & gastronomy of Valencia, known as Festin. The cultural event, which combines art and culinary experiences, will take place May 9-18 at 18 locations across Valencia, Gandía, and Riba-Roja del Turia.
Each venue will present a unique offering, creating a diverse calendar designed to bring art and gastronomy closer to the public. The experiences, which are available for booking on the festival website, promise to be unique.
City Officials highlight Music and Innovation
Paula Llobet, the Councilor for Tourism, Innovation, and Investment Collection, presented this year’s Festin. the initiative is promoted by the City of Valencia through the Fundació Visión Valencia, in collaboration with Turisme Community Valenciana, the Diputación de València, and participating venues and chefs.

She cited Carito Lourenço’s author’s menu in dialog with the works of the Hortensia Herrero Art Center,and María José Martínez’s reinterpretation of the Diet of Ancient Egypt at Pumpas Gens,as examples.
Llobet also mentioned the chocolate Serratosa, inspired by sculptures, and Utopik’s sensory experience, showcasing the merger of contemporary art and gastronomy through chocolate with Paco Llopis and Juana Rojas.
Visitors can also explore the Visigothic legacy in Riba-Roja del Turia or relive 16th-century desserts in Gandía. Liquid menus at the IVAM, sensory performances in Las Naves, and dinners after shows at the Palau de les Arts are also planned.
