The FIFA Club World Cup is set for a new look this year, expanding to a 32-team tournament in the United States. Teams from around the globe will compete for a share of the $1 billion prize.
Several high-profile teams are participating in the expanded competition, including UEFA Champions league winners Paris Saint-Germain and Argentine powerhouse Boca Juniors. European teams comprise the majority of the field with 12 teams,while South America has six participants. Asia and africa each have four teams, and North America has five, including three MLS teams. Auckland City represents Oceania as the sole amateur side.
