Final Fantasy XIV Mobile: Tencent Games and Square Enix Team Up for iOS and Android Launch
Tencent Games’ subsidiary LightSpeed Studios, in partnership with Square Enix, has announced the release of Final Fantasy XIV Mobile for iOS and Android. Naoki Yoshida, the producer and director of Final Fantasy XIV, will supervise the project. Multiple playtests will begin soon in China, followed by a global release shortly after.
Naoki Yoshida stated, “It has been 11 years since Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn launched. This new mobile game will be a sister to Final Fantasy XIV, aiming to recreate the grandeur of the original’s story and combat on mobile devices.” The game will also include non-combat features, such as Disciples of the Land and Hand, reflecting the essence of the original game.

Variety of Races and Jobs: Players can choose from various playable races and switch between nine available jobs at launch using the Armoury system.

Leisure Activities: When not adventuring, players can enjoy chocobo racing, the Triple Triad card game, crafting, and various seasonal events.
