Financial Supervisory Service Governor Lee Bok-hyun: “Tailored Lectures for MZ Generation Soldiers”
Commander Lee Jin-woo: “Providing diverse experiences including virtual assets”
The Financial Supervisory Service and the Capital Defense Command are cooperating to provide financial education to military personnel and their families.
On the 30th, FSS Governor Lee Bok-hyun and Defense Defense Command Commander Lee Jin-woo signed a business agreement (MOU) to promote financial education for military personnel at the Defense Defense Command headquarters. According to the agreement, the FSS will utilize its own financial education program to provide customized education to soldiers and newly appointed officers of units under the Defense Defense Command, covering everything from basic financial theory to cases of frequent military damage, such as illegal cyber gambling and virtual asset investment fraud.
In addition, the Financial Supervisory Service plans to expand the training of financial education instructors for personnel and finance officers in charge of financial education for frontline military personnel. It also plans to expand the scope of financial education to military families, providing equal educational opportunities to military families who have limited opportunities for financial education due to remote locations.
The director said, “As interest in financial investment has increased due to the increase in the level of military personnel’s salaries, we will provide customized lectures to the MZ (Millennial + Z) generation soldiers.” Commander Lee said, “It is meaningful to provide various financial education such as virtual assets,” and “We need to make a leap forward with an agreement for mutual continuous development in the future.”
