Fio Bank Rate Changes and Interest Rates Overview
From Thursday, March 12, 2026, Fio banka will change the prices of its services. A new fee has been added for Belarus and Russia. Interest rates for term deposits have been valid since Monday, January 12, 2026. Here is an overview of the changes.

Foreign Payments
A one-time, fixed fee has been added for payments to Belarus and Russia. If Fio banka sent you a payment to these two countries at all (it didn’t have to), you previously paid standard fees for international payments. This is changing, and now it will be a fixed fee of €250 (approximately CZK 6,076) for each payment.

Cash Deposit in Slovakia
the fee for a euro deposit by a third party for customers of the Slovak part of Fio banka is increasing. It is currently CZK 90, and the new fee will be CZK 120, converted into euros according to the CNB exchange rate.
Depositing euros by the owner of the Slovak account, or their authorized representative, remains free of charge.
