A significant fire is currently burning in a single-story commercial building located on Turitea Place in Albany,Auckland. Fire and Emergency New Zealand (FENZ) received the initial emergency calls shortly before 10:00 PM on September 25, 2025.
Firefighting Efforts Underway
As of 12:47 PM NZDT on September 26,2025,seven fire trucks,including a ladder truck,are actively engaged in battling the blaze. FENZ reports that the building is well alight and the fire remains uncontained. The intensity of the fire necessitated a substantial response from Auckland’s fire services.
