The first elimination of I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! 2024 has occurred following a public vote. Nearly two weeks into the show, a noted contestant has exited the jungle.
During the episode on November 29th, hosts Ant and Dec arrived at the camp to announce the eliminated campmate, revealing that Jane Moore received the fewest votes.
Jane Moore’s Departure
Jane Moore, a journalist and Loose Women regular, was the first to leave the competition. She was in the bottom two alongside BBC Radio 1 DJ Dean McCullough. Upon learning she would go home, Moore remarked, "Hard work doesn’t get rewarded, let’s put it that way."
Reflecting on her jungle experience, Moore expressed mixed feelings. She described it as "weird and magical" but mentioned the challenges, particularly the constant rain. "I’ve never been so soaked in my life," she said, adding, "At least there’s no more washing up; I’m never washing up again."
Moore enjoyed bonding with other contestants and facilitating open conversations. She noted, "We’ve all got each other’s back." Many campmates shared things with her they hadn’t discussed in years, which they found beneficial.
I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! 2024 continues to air on ITV1 and ITVX, with the next episode scheduled for 9 PM tonight.
