VV: Joris and I have always been adventurous, but we felt like the typical travel show format, with all the five-star trimmings, lacked a certain authenticity.We wanted to connect with places on a deeper level, experience the cultures firsthand, and really push ourselves outside our comfort zones.
ND3: The series promises laughter, challenges, and unforgettable moments. Can you give viewers a taste of what to expect?
VV: Let’s just say we’ve haggled in bustling markets,learned (sometimes disastrously) to cook local dishes,and found ourselves in situations we never coudl have predicted. We’re not afraid to embrace the unexpected and, of course, there’s plenty of banter along the way. Our chemistry is definitely on display!
ND3: Your on-screen partnership with Joris is clearly a highlight. What makes your dynamic work so well?
VV: We’re genuinely good friends. We have this instinctive understanding, this ability to make each other laugh even in the most challenging situations. That’s what I believe viewers will connect with – the genuine camaraderie and the raw experience, warts and all.

VV: I hope it inspires people to embrace the unknown, to step outside their comfort zones and truly experience the world. travel doesn’t have to be about luxury and extravagance; it’s about the connections we make, the cultures we discover, and the memories we create along the way.
