First Royal Easter Service Since Prince Stripped of Titles
Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie will not attend the Easter Sunday church service at St. George’s Chapel, Windsor. With the agreement of the King, they have made alternative plans. Their decision to stay out of the spotlight follows the arrest of their father, Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor (formerly Prince Andrew), on the Sandringham Estate on suspicion of misconduct in public office. This arrest occurred after a large portion of the Epstein files were released, putting many of his communications with Epstein into the public domain. In October 2025, it was announced that Andrew would move out of Royal Lodge and that all of his titles, including that of Prince, would be removed. Sarah Ferguson has faced fallout from her appearance in the files, resulting in charities dropping her as an ambassador.
