Of that total, approximately 1.5 billion are fish. animals’ View contends the actual number could be far higher, as the industry frequently enough counts animals by weight rather than individual count, obscuring the true scale of the aquatic animal massacre.
Animals’ View documented the lives of these animals from the ocean or fish farms to markets in its documentary, “They – वे: The rise of aquatic animal breeding.” The organization argues that the exploitation of aquatic animals is reaching unprecedented levels. The documentary draws parallels between aquaculture farms and land-based factory farms, asserting that the scale of suffering might potentially be even greater due to the sheer number of animals confined.
