The Omaha concert is part of a larger tour that also includes dates in Des Moines, Denver, Green Bay, and Salina, Kansas.

For Ondrasik, the tour represents a continuation of a career marked by emotionally resonant songwriting. His work, including hits like “100 Years,” “The Riddle,” and “Chances,” has become deeply embedded in American culture, frequently appearing in significant life moments – weddings, graduations, and memorials – and in film and television. His song “100 Years” alongside “Superman (It’s Not Easy)” have become staples, demonstrating a lasting impact beyond initial chart success. Ondrasik’s music has been featured in over 350 films, television shows, and commercials, including the Oscar-winning The Blind Side and television series like Hawaii Five-O and The Sopranos.

McCain, known for his platinum-selling albums and hits like “I’ll Be,” has similarly maintained a strong connection with audiences through decades of touring and songwriting. The pairing of these two artists suggests a shared appeal to fans who appreciate thoughtful lyrics and melodic arrangements.

According to Ondrasik, he is “So looking forward to sharing the stage with Ed and his fantastic band while bringing fans back to the future!” The tour format will feature Five for Fighting and McCain alternating closing sets each night.

Ondrasik will be performing with a band comprised of notable musicians including drummer Randy Cooke (who has worked with Mick Jagger and Ringo Starr), bassist Sean Hurley (John Mayer, Alanis Morissette), and guitarist Peter Thorn (Chris Cornell, Melissa Etheridge). This lineup suggests a high-quality musical experience beyond simply revisiting familiar songs.
