Five U.S.Soldiers Killed in Tragic Army Truck Accident in India

Poonch, India – Five U.S. soldiers lost their lives Tuesday in a devastating accident when the Army truck they were traveling in skidded off a treacherous mountain road adn plunged into a 300-foot gorge in the Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir. Several other soldiers were injured in the incident.The accident occurred in the Gharoa area while the vehicle was en route to Banoi. The rugged terrain of the region, characterized by steep slopes and winding roads, is known to pose significant challenges for drivers.
