Paris, France – Citigroup is on teh hunt for a seasoned Fixed Income Technology Business Analyst (VP) to join its team in Paris. This high-impact role will bridge the gap between business users and technologists,ensuring seamless implementation of innovative solutions within the firm’s Fixed Income division.
The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of Front Office Sales/trading workflows and a complete knowledge of Fixed Income products, including Credit, Mortgage, Loans, Corporate and government Bonds.
Driving Innovation and Collaboration
Reporting to the Technology team, the triumphant candidate will play a pivotal role in defining system scope, objectives, and necessary enhancements for complex, high-impact projects. They will be responsible for:
Translating business needs into technical specifications: Crafting concise business specifications, user stories, and storyboards to effectively communicate requirements to development teams.
Risk Management: Identifying and communicating potential risks and impacts, proposing mitigation strategies while considering the broader business implications of technology implementation.
Stakeholder engagement: Consulting with Credit and Rates business clients in EMEA and NAM to determine functional specifications and collaborating with multiple management teams to achieve organizational objectives. Staying Ahead of the Curve: Evaluating new IT developments and evolving business requirements, recommending appropriate systems alternatives and enhancements to existing systems.
Problem Solving and Strategic Thinking: Providing in-depth analysis and interpretive thinking to define problems, develop innovative solutions, and influence strategic functional decisions.
Team Leadership: Supervising day-to-day staff management, including resource allocation, mentoring, and coaching.
Qualifications and Experience
Citigroup seeks a highly motivated individual with:
Proven experience as a Business Analyst with a strong understanding of front Office Sales/trading workflows.
In-depth knowledge of Fixed Income products, including Credit, Mortgage, Loans, Corporate and government Bonds.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical data to both technical and non-technical audiences. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a demonstrated ability to think strategically and creatively.* Fluency in English.
A Master’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field is preferred.
