Florida Football Faces Key Injuries Ahead of Rival FSU Showdown

Florida Football Faces Key Absences Against FSU

Florida Gators football will go into their rivalry game against Florida State without several key players. Starting right guard Damieon George Jr. is out after being seen in a leg boot during warmups. Redshirt freshman Bryce Lovett is set to make his second start in George’s place. Coach Billy Napier praised Lovett’s versatility, noting he can play multiple positions on the line.

The Gators are also missing starting linebacker Grayson Howard, defensive back Aaron Gates, and cornerbacks Jason Marshall Jr. and Devin Moore.

Florida (6-5, 4-4 SEC) is looking to end a challenging season. They aim to rebound after suffering a three-game losing streak, despite recent victories against ranked teams like LSU and Ole Miss.

Stay tuned for the exciting matchup as Florida tries to close the season on a high note against their rival.
