Florrie was predeceased by her beloved husband,Dr. Jack, and her parents, Patrick and Mary. Her life was a testament to the values she held dear, a life lived in service to others and enriched by the deep bonds of family.

Florrie’s career as a community nurse was marked by a profound commitment to the well-being of those she served. For decades, she was a familiar and comforting presence in homes across Mayo, offering not just medical expertise but also a listening ear and a gentle hand. Honoring Florrie’s Memory
The community will have the prospect to pay their respects and celebrate Florrie’s life.
Reposing: Her family home will be open for repose on Monday, August 4th, from 5 pm to 7 pm.
Removal: Following the repose, Florrie will be removed to St. Bridget’s Church, Ballycastle.
Requiem Mass: The Requiem Mass will be held on Tuesday, August 5th, at 12 noon in St. Bridget’s Church.
Burial: Florrie will be laid to rest in Ballycastle cemetery, a place that held significance in her life.
