On September 11, General Secretary Xi Jinping visited the Zhongshan Bridge section of the Yellow River in Lanzhou, Gansu Province, to learn about local efforts to promote ecological protection of the Yellow River Basin.

General Secretary Xi Jinping has always been concerned about the mother river of the Chinese nation. Since the 18th CPC National Congress, he has visited nine provinces and autonomous regions along the upper, middle, and lower reaches of the Yellow River.
