This initiative, spearheaded by the NHS Black Country Integrated Care Board (ICB), aims to boost vaccination rates and safeguard residents from the increased risk of respiratory illnesses during the colder months.
“Respiratory viruses spread more easily during winter,” said Dr. Ananta Dave, chief medical officer for the ICB. “We encourage anyone who hasn’t yet received their vaccination to come forward and protect themselves and their loved ones.”
Who’s Eligible?
the following groups are eligible for the free vaccinations:

His friend Sarah agreed. “It’s fully free, too! The NHS Black Country ICB is really trying to make sure everyone is protected this winter.”

Jane: “Hey Robert, did you hear about those free flu and COVID shots they’re offering now?”
Robert: “No, I didn’t.are they talking about boosters?”
Jane: “Yeah, but it’s even better than that. They’re doing walk-in appointments at pop-up clinics all over the Black Country. No need to book anything, just show up!”
Robert: “Really? That’s amazing! Where are these clinics?”
Jane: “They’re setting them up in supermarkets, town centres, even some shops. The NHS Black Country ICB is really trying to make it as easy as possible for everyone to get vaccinated.”
Robert: “That’s smart. It’s so much easier than making an appointment at the doctor’s office.”
Jane: “Exactly! Plus,it’s completely free. Apparently, they’re especially encouraging people who are older or have health conditions to get the shots.”
Robert: “My mom could really use this. She’s been putting it off because she hates making appointments.I’ll tell her about these clinics!”
Jane: “Good idea! I remember reading that Dr. Dave said respiratory viruses spread more easily in the winter. So it’s even more important to be protected.”
