“The vaccine is available to both IMSS beneficiaries and non-beneficiaries at our Family Medicine Units,” Dr. Frayre torres explained.”These units are open from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm, Monday through Friday.”
In addition to its clinics, the IMSS is also conducting mobile vaccination drives at schools, businesses, and other community locations to ensure wider access to the flu shot.
“Our staff takes great care to maintain the vaccine’s integrity, ensuring it is stored at the correct temperature,” Dr. frayre Torres emphasized. “The only contraindication for receiving the vaccine is if the individual has a fever at the time of management.”
The IMSS encourages all eligible residents to take advantage of this opportunity to protect themselves and their loved ones from the flu this winter season.
