Kingspan Insulation Introduces Kooltherm K100 for Construction
Kingspan Insulation North America has launched Kooltherm K100, a foam plastic insulation designed for thermal efficiency, space optimization, and safety in both new construction and retrofit projects. The new insulation boasts an R-value of 8.1 to 8.3 per inch,providing high thermal performance in a slim profile.This allows project teams to maximize interior space while reducing material usage and construction costs,all while maintaining code compliance.
The Kooltherm K100 insulation, designed with advanced fire resistance, achieves a Class A flame and smoke rating per ASTM E84 and passes multiple NFPA 285 assemblies. The new insulation also has zero Ozone Depletion Potential (ODP) and low Global Warming Potential (GWP), making it suitable for environmentally conscious building projects.
