According to Yonhap News today (24th), Mr. A, who lives in Busan, said that while his young daughter was eating canelé bought from a famous bakery on the 22nd, a coin-sized black magnet came out.

The bakery where I bought the canelé is one of the best restaurants in Busan. It has stores in different areas, including those in department stores, and the place where Mr. A bought the product is the branch in Geumjeong-gu.

Mr A said, “I was so shocked when a magnet appeared the size of a 500 coin that was won. It’s a very famous place, and I’ve been a regular here for over 10 years. Mr A added, “I called the bakery in question and they admitted there was a foreign substance in the bread and said they would refund the 3,400 won.”

The bakery’s position is that a magnet got into the product due to an employee’s mistake. An official from the bakery said, “We have apologized to the customer and are waiting for the customer to visit,” and added, “We promise to pay special attention to product management in the future.”

Mr said. A, “My daughter and I were not hurt, but I decided to report it because someone could get hurt. I hope that clear measures will be put in place to prevent this from happening again.”
