A former WWE star has said that they are ‘absolutely’ open to joining AEW, noting that they would love to work with their students.
Former WWE star Mr.Anderson (Mr. Kennedy) recently made a return appearance in TNA Wrestling, and he has now opened up on the possibility of him joining AEW.
Speaking to 99.9 Punk World Radio FM’s Elite Wrestle Talk Anderson was asked if he would be open to joining AEW, with him saying he would ‘absolutely’ be open to, citing jon Moxley and his students Dante Martin, Darius Martin and Julia Hart as names he’d want to work with.
He said:
“Yes absolutely. I’m in the business to, I wanna tell stories, I wanna entertain peopel. I still have gas in the tank and I feel like there is some opportunities there with some people. So yeah that’s definitely something I would totally entertain.
“The one thing I will say, and it took me until recently to put my finger on it. It was something I always felt was missing from my career with WWE during the Ruthless Aggression Era and that was,I broke into wrestling because of the Attitude Era stuff and I have always gravitated towards edgy stuff,and not just edgy for the sake of edgy,but more adult centered.
“When I first got to WWE, I was told to tone it down, and I did, and I was successful, but I always felt like something was missing.
