The FTC initially ⁣took action against Epic Games, Fortnite’s developer, over allegations of⁢ using deceptive practices, or “dark patterns,”⁢ to trick players into making unintended purchases. They also cited issues with unauthorized charges made by children without parental consent.⁢ Epic games was ordered to pay $245⁤ million in refunds and a $275 million penalty for violating the Children’s Online Privacy Protection act.

Who is Eligible for a Fortnite Refund?
