The Multi-Stage Qualification Trail Across the Region
The qualification path for Lima 2027 began at the Tlaxcala 2026 Pan American Championships, where initial team and secondary qualification tournaments awarded the first major allocation of positions. The allocation was then updated following the 2026 Central American and Caribbean Games in Santo Domingo, which made four additional spots available. An additional four country quota places were awarded through the 2025 Pan American Junior Games in Asunción.

The latest allocation distribution spans all four individual events. Argentina secured a position in recurve men, Ecuador claimed a spot in recurve women, Brazil earned a place in compound men, and Venezuela secured a quota in compound women.

Akash Esteban de Jesus Adrian Silva secured the recurve men’s position for Argentina as the country’s highest-ranked competitor in the event. Adriana Espinoza de los Monteros claimed the Ecuador recurve women’s quota as her nation’s highest-ranked archer. Jairo Rodrigo Da Silva earned Brazil’s compound men’s position after reaching the bronze-medal match. Ana Mendoza secured the Venezuela compound women’s quota by winning the bronze medal in her event.
Current Totals and the Road to San Salvador
Following the inclusion of these four fresh spots, the 71 overall assigned quota slots for Lima 2027 are divided into 23 spots for recurve men, 24 for recurve women, 12 for compound men, and 12 for compound women. The remaining quota positions will be allocated at the final continental qualification tournament scheduled to take place in San Salvador in 2027.
