Four Narcoterrorists Killed in Security Operation
On April 14, 2026, the U.S. Southern Command (SOUTHCOM) conducted a lethal kinetic strike on a suspected drug-trafficking vessel in the Eastern Pacific. The operation was carried out by Joint Task Force Southern Spear under the direction of SOUTHCOM commander Gen. Francis L. Donovan. According to SOUTHCOM, four male “narco-terrorists” were killed during the action. The command stated that intelligence confirmed the vessel was operated by Designated Terrorist Organizations and was engaged in narco-trafficking operations along known routes in the Eastern Pacific. No U.S. Military forces were harmed. This action was reported as the 50th boat strike conducted by the U.S. Military. Operation Southern Spear is part of the Trump administration’s efforts to combat the flow of illicit drugs from Latin America to the U.S. Mainland. Since September 2025, these strikes have targeted vessels in the Caribbean Sea and the Pacific Ocean.
