Four Retrievers Earn Academic All-District Honors
Baltimore, MD – The University of Maryland, Baltimore County (UMBC) volleyball team is celebrating the academic achievements of four of its standout players. Abby Erickson, Helen Frankovich, Jada James, and Aysia Miller have all been named to the 2024 College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District® Volleyball teams.This prestigious honor recognizes the nation’s top student-athletes for their exceptional performance both on the court and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program further distinguishes honorees across four divisions: NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III, and NAIA.
Miller’s extraordinary academic record has earned her a spot on the national ballot for the CSC Academic All-America® award.She will now be considered for first-, second-, or third-team honors, which will be announced on January 14, 2025.
