Fox News Dominates November Ratings with Nearly 2 Million Viewers Daily
Fox News Ratings November Update
In November, Fox News averaged nearly two million viewers each day, marking it as the sixth most-watched month in its history. This was also the second-best November for the network ever. Other cable networks struggled to reach this level, with ESPN finishing in second place at 741,000 viewers.
During primetime, Fox News furthered its lead, averaging 3.2 million viewers. On Election Day, Fox News Media achieved the highest ratings across all networks with almost 13.6 million viewers during its primetime election coverage. This included coverage co-anchored by Bret Baier and Martha MacCallum, which attracted around 10.8 million total viewers.
Following the election, Fox News maintained its top position, finishing its 45th consecutive month as the number one cable news network in viewership. It held a significant share of the market, capturing 73% of primetime viewers and 69% of total viewers since Election Day.
“The Five,” hosted by Greg Gutfeld, Jesse Watters, Dana Perino, and Jeanine Pirro, was the most-watched show on cable news, averaging 4.4 million viewers. Other popular programs included “Life, Liberty & Levin,” with 1.8 million viewers, and “Sunday Morning Futures,” which averaged 1.9 million viewers.
In comparison, MSNBC faced challenges. Several of its shows reached record lows in viewership since the election. Additionally, among MSNBC staff, discontent grew after co-hosts Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski met with Trump, which angered many liberal viewers.
Overall, Fox News clearly dominated viewing figures in November, reinforcing its strong presence in cable news.
