Bagnaia‍ Eyes Championship Lead at Qatar‌ MotoGP

DOHA, Qatar – Fresh off his⁢ first victory of teh 2024 season, Francesco⁢ Bagnaia arrives at the Qatar Grand Prix with momentum on his side, ⁣trailing the championship leader ⁤by a mere 12 points.

The Ducati‌ rider capitalized on a mistake by teammate Marc Márquez in Austin to secure the win,narrowing the gap in ‍the overall⁣ standings. Bagnaia expressed optimism following⁢ the⁤ victory, noting improved feeling on the bike.

“Getting back to ⁢work on the ‌track ​after a victory is always pleasant,”⁣ Bagnaia said in a statement. “The final epilogue in Austin ⁤was fantastic, and I am also very happy as, compared⁢ to the⁣ previous GP, my sensations piloting were better.”

Despite the positive⁣ result, Bagnaia acknowledged⁣ the work ahead. “We​ still have a lot to do; there is a lot of work in ​front of ‍us, but⁢ this ⁤track is known to bring out the characteristics and potential of the ⁣Desmosedici GP,” he stated, hinting ‌at confidence‍ in ⁣his ​bike’s performance⁣ at the ⁣Qatar⁤ circuit.
