TNA World Champion Frankie Kazarian‘s Victory Resonates Deeply with Wife and son

Brooks, also a veteran of professional wrestling, described feeling “jaded” about championships after years in the business, but Kazarian’s win was different. “When he won it, I realized how much it meant. Like, I could cry right now,” Brooks said, according to Wrestling Inc.. She and Rebel intentionally kept the outcome a surprise from their son.
Brooks emphasized that the championship is a long-overdue reward for Kazarian’s consistent contributions to the company. She explained that he frequently elevates other wrestlers and provides leadership behind the scenes, frequently enough without receiving the same spotlight. “Everybody knows you step into the ring [with him] you’re going to have that amazing match… But for him to actually get his flowers like that… It realy meant a lot to me,” she stated.

The victory has also profoundly impacted Rebel,who previously showed little interest in professional wrestling. Brooks shared that her son now aspires to follow in his father’s footsteps, aiming to surpass Kazarian’s accomplishments. “He wants to be a six-time X Division champion, because Frankie was five… He wants to be the youngest X Division champion,” she said.
