The Billy Graham Evangelistic Association (BGEA) will host a major European Congress on Evangelism in Berlin from May 27-30. Franklin graham, president and CEO of BGEA, is spearheading the event, which aims to bolster Christian evangelism across Europe. this gathering marks a important return to Berlin, where Billy Graham held the first World congress on Evangelism in 1966.

The focus is to equip and encourage Christian leaders to spread the gospel in europe. The upcoming congress underscores the importance of evangelism and the need to address the challenges facing churches in Europe.
The theme for this year’s congress is taken from Romans 1:16: “For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes.” Graham emphasized the importance of boldly preaching the gospel. He believes that the gospel has the power to transform lives.
“Paul just said, I’m not ashamed of it. This is what I beleive. This is what I stand for and this is the gospel that we preach… God uses the gospel to pierce people’s hearts,” Graham said.
Graham noted the closure of numerous churches in Germany and stressed the need to encourage churches to remain steadfast in their mission.The congress seeks to ignite a renewed passion for evangelism and encourage churches to be unashamed of the gospel. Despite conflicts, representatives from Ukrainian and Russian churches are expected to attend, highlighting the unifying power of faith.
